The core is the part that powers your lightsaber and controls its sound, light, and effects. Different core types can look similar, but they offer different features. Baselit RGBX uses LEDs in the hilt to light the blade, while Xenopixel Xeno 3 uses LEDs inside the blade for brighter colour and more custom effects.
RGBX is a baselit option with hilt-based lighting, a straightforward setup and a lower entry price. Xenopixel uses LEDs inside the blade and adds brighter, more even illumination, advanced effects, smooth swing, sound fonts and supported app controls. Both RGBX and Xenopixel configurations are battle-ready where offered. Compatibility depends on the specific saber, core and blade combination, so check the product page or ask CR Sabers before choosing.
Lightsaber blades are typically made from polycarbonate, but thickness and construction vary by product. Baselit blades use light from the hilt, while pixel blades contain LEDs for more even illumination and effects. Both RGBX and Xenopixel configurations are battle-ready where offered. Check the product page or ask CR Sabers to confirm the right blade and configuration for your intended use.
